Spent a day in wonderful sunshine on the triangle in Maindee, Newport measuring, recording and shooting the breeze with neighbours and other people who know the area well. Placemaking was never such a pleasure. This is an early stage, laying the way for events that will bring out opinions and ideas, and views as to how to do things that are right for Maindee - with colour, fun and some originality.
